As most of you already know, tonight was the last night of ski class. Each of us had to talk about our paper, a safety tip, and a skill we learned in class, then we had to lead the group down the hill while demoing the skill. When it was my turn I talked about my paper and my safety tip (learn to how to ride the lifts before actually riding... I tend to struggle with this) and then I told everyone about my skill... I told the story of Liz and how I gave her a little push while her feet we together and how she just fell down. I laughed, the IV kids who know Liz laughed and everyone else looked at me blankly. Then I told everyone to ski the run without poles and they did! I was so touched! Cry, sad, it's over.

Tomorrow is the last night of ski class. Let's have a moment of silence. I'll do my best to stifle my sobs. Not those kinds of sobs Amy, the other kind.
Why are these things always right? Give it a try.
I am Ned Flanders!
Which Simpsons Character are YOU?

Really, truely, officially met "Tom" last night. His name is Andy but this I've known for quite a while. The fun and freakishly similar to the real Tom facts are: he plays hockey (I told him I have a book and I'm learning... didn't bother to tell him the title of the book is The Girlfriend's Guide to Hockey... I'll let you put two and two together on that one), he's in ski class (that means he skis... is he good? Don't know but he skis none the less) and of course, he bears a scary resemblense to you know who. And actually, after chatting with him and getting a better look, he's almost more of a cross between Tom and Dan's friend Matt Patterson (BREATH, Mom, BREATH!). And the clentcher you've all be waiting for.... what year is he? A freshman. Yowza. Ya'll are sad about it and so am I. The moral of the story is: we're just gonna play this one by ear and see if things going anywhere... with this younger man. I feel like a craddle robber... and ew, it'd be like dating one of Andrew's friends. Ew.

My kids gave me Valentines. I almost cried when I saw the little white bag with Ms Loftus written on it. They love me. Sigh.

And back to beaters... they give me a huge snuggy when I wear them tucked in. I'd wear them untucked but I got meduims and they could really be considered beater mini-dresses. The moral of the story is: I'm going to have a snuggy until it gets warm out.
Lakeview opens March 4th. Amy is going to get a BLT and cheese curds. T will be having cheese curds as well but she isn't sure what else she's gonna have. I will be having a Toddy burger and fries. We'll all be having root beer floats... yum Lakeview vanilla ice cream. I'm so excited.

Last weekend= fun. Karen and I picked Al up at the airport... I managed to say the 'terrorists' while we were there, not a one security guard tried to haul me off or anything... airport security my butt. Al, Karen and I went to Cosetta's for dinner. I ate myself retarded, it was great. The three of us plus Erin then went to see How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. It was so cute... and whooie, old what's his face? He's so very hot. Karen can verify that I think he's hot... I told her about twenty times throughout the movie. Saturday Liz and I went up to Wild. I think we laughed more than I've ever laughed in all of my life. During what was supposed to be a lesson on balance I pushed Liz, she fell down and thought I was being mean... we laughed for hours. On the way home she breaked rather abruptly, said "oh God!" and pointed. I was looking for a deer or something. She was refering to the seesaw plaground sign... "watch out for seesaws!!!!!" The laughing after that was like eight min abs in about two. Saturday night I went to dinner with the rents, then the mall with Erin, Karen and Al. Bummed around there then went to Foley's sorority house. The girls got ready for a frat party and I went home. On Sunday I went to church with the Mom and to SuperTarg. Dinner with the fam and then back to Winona. Yep. That's it.

Crazy weekend ahead: Skiing Wild tomorrow night but only before stopping at the mall (don't worry Mom, T wants to get some shoes, I'm not buying anything, my money will stay in the car). Spending the night at Liz's apartment... ooooooo sleep over! Fun! Then we're off to lovely Eau Claire on Sat afternoon. Gonna see the rents and Andrew and the Gundroo clan. Good times will be had by all. No doubt about it. More from me after this weekend's adventure. Peace out Gs.
