I haven't blogged in close to a millenia, sorry bout that. I'm going makeup for it in a monsterous post right now, so if you're thirsty or need to pee or do anything immediate I suggest you do that before you read the post. I'll try to go in some sort of order but not gonna proof read this mother and here goes......

I worked Christmas Eve which was alright and as a bonus I got to meet Princess's parents. They were adorable, I think I love them already and his mom hugged me. I'm going to start calling them the King and Queen.

After work I went home home for about a week. Christmas was nice and casual. We opened presents at home and went to Patti and UB's on Christmas day for dinner, games and prizes. I tried two new things: goose and fruit cake. Goose= tastes like chicken. Fruit cake= gross man. There's video of me trying the fruit cake... I'll try to get a copy of it out to everyone, I must say it's classic Sara footage.

Mom and I shopped on the 26th, I spent money like it was going out of style. Whoops. Ask me to do my horse impression when I'm wearing the clogs I got that day... I'll even whinnie for you. And ps to the shopping... check out the Fossil clothing, way cute and way cool.

I tried to see Tom race at Buck on the 27th but was a tish late and missed the race so we went to lunch and the Gravity Lab with his buddy Mason. Needless to say time spent with Tom is always interesting and awkward... bless him. And Mason is my newest friend.

I saw my first Flavor show in Apple Vally. They rocked. They're awesome. Go see them as soon as possible. Their website: genuineflavor.com. I think I'm going to become one of their groupies.

I skied Wild on the 29th. I love that place, it's my favorite. The conditions were pretty good and I did a way better job of staying on my toes (still haven't skied with poles this season). On the way home from Wild I decided to spend some quality time in a ditch out side of Linstrum. Yeah, that wasn't fun. I wish I could have seen my tracks (Tom said they were cool). If you want a detailed story of what happened you can call my cell 612 730 4878. Speaking of cell phones and the ditch, I'd like to take this time to personally thank the ditch for convincing me to get a cell phone for times of emergency. Thank you ditch!

Back to Winona I went. Trace and I went out for New Years. It was a meh-ish sort of evening. The scariest part was when my boyfriend John Speltz found me on the dance floor of Schyde's. Let's just say HD customers shouldn't be allowed to harass HD staff in public. Yet another awkward moment during my winter break. Later in the evening Wally, Dunton and Paul all graced me with drunken phone calls from NRHEG. Wally gave everyone kisses for me, Paul was in a closet and Dunton proposed.

After work on the 3rd, I hauled my butt back to the cities. Did some hanging around, had a last supper with Dan and the rest of the fam, and chilled at Barnes and Noble with Al and Karen.

Monday was Dan's reconnection day (I skied at Buck that morning... super cold out, they were making snow so I had to go up to Gravity Lab to buy goggles and had a mini lesson. feet shoulder width apart and stay on my darn toes). Mom called from the hospital that morning to say Dan couldn't be reconnected. Basically the lower half of his intestines was deteriorating, it wasn't an option to reconnect him. The colostomy bag was moved to the otherside and he's stuck with it forever. That's the downside, the upside is that since Monday Dan has been pretty positive about things and is recovering very quickly. Monday night Andrew and I met Jessica, her boyfriend and Liz at Famous Dave's for the Flavor show. Another fun show and time. The Flavor boys showed their concern for Dan, were great as always and Wade hugged me!

Tuesday I chilled at the hospital and Wednesday I saw Erin Giesenhagen. It was so so so very good to see her. She's doing well, having fun and will be interning at Fox this spring.

And then I drove back to Winona to work for the rest of the week. I went out with the work boys on Thursday and on Friday Greg met all of us at Dan's Dugout for a crazy time. There was a lot of inappropriate behavior, laughing and making fun of eachother.

Today, I sat around and picked my nose all day. I'm going to miss the freedom of no school.

And now I'm finished.
