I am currently obsessed with the Lord of the Rings trilogy. If you haven't seen all three movies you'd better hurry up and get watching cause it's going to take you an entire day to see them all. Hurry! Fly you fools!

I will be at home home from tomorrow evening until Tuesday morning. Note that this will set the record for most amount of time spent at home home since winter break of last year. I'm just a wee bit excited. The plan is to celebrate Christmas, ski Wild and maybe Buck, play with my family, and last but certainly not least, catch up with the Old Navy Ladies. I'll see all ya'll in Lakeville. bye now

I skiied today. My lift ticket said: See you bye! How fitting?!

The work Christmas party was last night, it was super fun. Everyone was funny and a little drunk (minus me on the drunk part); we had presents and gag gifts; lots of laughing; whip cream on Princess's head; jumping on hotel room beds; yummy dinner; tons of teasing; and pictionary. It was delightful... we need to have more work parties, they're so much fun. My gift was a lovely photo box with picture frames. My gag gifts were a HUGE thing of cheese balls; Rockstar Energy Drink; five pounds of peanuts and a stolen shot glass with a hand written note that says, "crime doesn't pay." LOL!!! Thanks everyone for a wonderful evening!!!!

Whoooooooooooie. Funny story for ya.... so Amy and I are downstairs getting ready for bed and whatnot. We're chatting away. "I need more hangers, " said Amy. "Yeah, I do too," said Sara, "but Mom says that's when it's time to clean out the closet." Doo dee deeee. Phwoooooooomclangbooooom! That was the sound of Sara's closet falling down. The whole darn thing came off the wall, screws, metal supports, the shelf, and every piece of hanging clothing I own is on the floor. Amy laughed. I screamed and then teared up. Tracy came running downstairs to see what was the matter. She laughed too. I continued to be teary and started to pick up the pieces of my broken life. Needless to say the bedroom is currently an explosion of my clothes... they're stacked all over the place. Maybe I will take this unfortunate opportunity to clean out my closet. Number one on my Honey Do List for tomorrow: Call the landlord to come fix my closet ASAP.

Welch was fantabulous. I skied the first few runs like crap; fell twice, once in the flats where no one should fall and once while I was trying to kiss a snow machine; and gave the last run a hug and a kiss before we left. I wish I was still there. I couldn't get over how happy I was to hear the creaky noises the lifts make, to be swooshing down the runs, doing cowboy turns, being silly on the lifts with Trace and Jess, and working at my form. I felt so free! If I could afford it I'd be there tomorrow and the next day and the next day and the next......

December 5th has arrived. It is time... well almost time. We aren't leaving for Welch until 8:30 tonight but you get the point, right?

Happy Birthday Karen!

Tomorrow
from the Original Motion Picture Sound Track Annie
Adaptations made by Sara Loftus

The skis will come out tomorrow!
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there'll be skis!
When you're stuck with a day that's grey and snowy
I'll just stick out my chin and grin and say...
Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I'll ski tomorrow
Cause you're only a day away!

Yesterday morning I was sitting in the office, wearing my towel, eating my bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats and reading blogs as I do every morning. I was chomping away at my cereal as I read Liz's latest post. Crunch, cruch, crunch (arm arm, arm arm), read, read, read, STOP! What? Shwa? Pwa? Qwa? Psh psh psh! Liz can't ski? Her knee and doctor hate her and don't want her to have any fun in the snow?! WHY GOD WHY?!

Liz, I'm very sorry for your loss and while I don't know how it feels, I can't imagine it feels too great. I'll be skiing for you tomorrow.

Picture Sara in the office: she's doing her homework, a candle is lit, her pink nalgene is half empty, there are papers stroon about, her hair is up in a messy pony, pencils are sticking out of her hair all willy nilly, and she's rocking out to Rascal Flatts as she types lesson plan after lesson plan..... suddenly she twitches a bit, flails her arms, wiggles her fingers and kicks her legs wildly because she just remembered SHE'S GOING SKIING ON FRIDAY!!!!! Eeeeeeeehehehehehehehehe!!!!
