Two Sad Thoughts-
Thought One: Wild and Welch are closed for the season. There will be no skiing for approximately nine months. I'm crying a lot on the inside and a teeny bit on the outside.
Thought Two: I am blogging to you from my seventh computer of the year. Apparently the Macs school provides for students have bad "mother boards." While I have had a lot of fun saying "mother board" in the last twenty-four hours, I can't help but still be sad about having six computers die on me. At least I didn't cry this time... though I did tell the Puter Center boys that I'm going to have to start buying them shots instead of making them dish rags. I think six computers probably equals six shots each... it's gonna be a spendy one if I ever see those guys downtown. Whoooooooie.

I have just created the two cutest mini bulletin boards ever. If they don't get an A+ I'll be shocked.
I just gave myself THE WORST paper cut in the ENTIRE WORLD on my little baby pinky finger. I could SMELL the pain. I'm sorry little baby pinky.

I'm cheating on my homework with blogger.... Spring break has been delightful (well, most of it has), I'll start at the beginning:
Last Friday was the very last ski till 3 of the season. Amy, Trace and I went to Welch for the blessed event. Wow the conditions were craptacular, I was very disappointed by them. Pertnear very run looked like it was covered in bumps. I'd ski a few turns, stop, look for my next few turns, stop, rinse and repeat. Stupid wet snow. Amy wiped out and broke her knee (I'm not sure if she really did or didn't, I just haven't heard any updates), I took a digger in the flats and came up with a very nasty bruise on the inside of my right knee (everyone I show it to cringes, make a scrunched up ouch face and looks away... then later they try to poke the bruise, jerks).
On Saturday I worked, then went out with Trace and the boys of Rollingstone. There was lots of laughing and being silly, and Tracy and I met Paul.
On Sunday I rolled out of bed, packed and went home home. I can't remember what I did on Sunday...... wait, no, I do remember. Trace came up, we had din din with the Fam and then Mom, Tracy and I went to see The Passion. It is an extremely powerful movie and in the words of Gma Pat, I didn't leave the theater whistling the tunes. The movie really brought a whole new meaning to the Easter season for me. Go see it, then we'll discuss it.
On Monday Trace, Steve and I went up to Wild Mountain for an evening of skiing. I was more than pleased with the conditions at Wild. The temp and snow were perfect. I wish I was still there. I've gotta put a little more hip into my turns... then I'll be that much closer to golden.
Tuesday is the day I said good bye to my federal tax return. Trace and I met Mason for a little breakfast, then headed to the Gravity Lab. I made the mistake of telling Mason that finding new boots for me was going to be a summer project for us. The jerk found boots for me, fitted them, and told me I could have them at cost. I had no choice but to do it. As I sat there with my new boots on Mason and Tracy discussed her new skis and bindings, I was the voice of reason in the background saying "do it, do it do it, do it." Later that day Trace went home and I went to get new tires put on the Chrystler. The tire man and Dad talked to eachother on the phone while I waited patiently, the tire man laughed a little and hung up. Connie went in, got new tires and came out. The tire man asked me if I knew about the tire break in policy, I said no, he told me I couldn't drive more then 20mph for the first fifty miles. I asked if he was kidding as I tried to figure out how to get home on backroads doing 20mph. The tire man drug the ordeal out a wee bit further then told me Dad wanted to see if I'd fall for it. THANKS DAD! I told the secretary at Dad's work to thank him for me and then to flick him in the forehead... she laughed and said she would love to do that for me.
I skied Buck on Wednesday, pretty good conditions (though I had to leave when it started raining), great lift rates ($9.99) and I got to demo some skis... later Mason apologized to me for having to ski on that particular model but I didn't think they were so bad. The new boots sucked at first (couldn't feel my feet, Mason was happy to hear that) but they got better with time, plust they hold my heal down! WOO HOO! Meanwhile, I'm doing a way better job of edging then I ever have!!! I just might go pro!
I worked yesterday evening and watched Pirates of the Caribean with Trace last night (I love Orlando Bloom). Princess and Paul stopped by for some giggles and then I went to bed.
And that's all there is, there isn't anymore.

Fun Facts of Thursday March 4, 2004
* I tripped on the rug in the blue room and almost completely exposed myself to Tracy.
* Marrying a dead person in France has been added to my to do list while I'm in Frace... they recently legalized doing such things. When in France, do as the French.
*I have a Marine pen pal... well, almost, more details are TBA.
*Today is the last day I have to wait for Lakeview to open! FISH SPECIAL FOR LUNCH TOMORROW!!!!
* Skiing is only a day away! The skis will come out tomorrow!
I'm getting a pen pal!!! I'm so excited!!!!! Miss Mandy asked me if I wanted to befriend a marine from the platoon her boyfriend is in (I have no idea if platoon is what marines call their little groups but I'm sure I'll find out from my pen pal!). So far all I know is: Mandy's bf, Jeff, and the platoon mate are currently fighting in Iraq, they'll be "state side" in August and that's it so far. I am a little worried about the whole I don't like guns and killing people concept but I'll have to work on that for my new friend, I must keep things positive for him! I can't wait to write silly letters and send pictures and care packages and American things (holy balls, I sounded patriotic right there)!!!!!! I'LL HAVE TO PRINT MY BLOGS AND SEND THOSE TOO!!!! This is going to be a great experience!! WOO HOO!!!

I went on my first real motorcycle ride on Saturday. I say "real" ride b/c some people don't seem to think my three circles in the parking lot counts as a "real" ride. In the meantime here are my thoughts: it was not as scary as I thought, it was very vibrate-y, u-turns were not my favorite, full face helmets block wind out nicely, the gear shifting sounds make me nervous, I could almost hear the radio over the sound of the bike and wind, I held on for dear life and clenched just about every muscle in my body, getting on and off a bagger is not something the spatially impaired should do without assistance, the road is very close to you and flies by quickly, I mumbled to myself in my helmet for a considerable part of the ride, it's a tish chilly to be riding in February, and I had my picture taken on the way out and back in... pictures may or maynot be available depending on the cooperation of the work digital camera. I'd like to thank Kevin for being a nice driver during my first ride and I'd also like to thank Momma Nature for a nice day in February. The end.
Flavor was awesome on Saturday night. Wade and I were even wearing the same pants!!!!!.......siiiiiiiiiiigh....... For those of you that haven't seen Flavor yet you'd better. They're way good and way fun and when they're famous you'll be able to say "I saw them way back when they were just getting started." So get your butt to one of their shows.
